I got an exclusive look in the store before the doors opened to public. A very organised, colour coordinated shop floor lay in front of me, I of course headed straight to beauty.
Being greeted with a DJ and Donna Air may not be an everyday expectancy but the Love Newcastle sign is a cute touch through the glass doors. Donna Air cut the red ribbon and greeted the public into the store before having a browse around herself.
The new TK Maxx store is set over three floors including the foyer. Up the entrance escalators you are greeted with a mass floor of women's wear, including beauty and shoes as well as their Gold Label range, just launched in February with daily deliveries of high end designers. A mix of couture and main collection products with amazing savings off the RRP.
The upper floor hosts home wear, kids and menswear. Home and beauty are my vices when entering TK Maxx, you can guarantee some beautiful, unique home wear finds as well as your favourite beauty brands with up to 60% off.
For TK Maxx noobs like myself that don't have the patience to rifle through the rails, the atmosphere and layout to this branch certainly helps. If you're in Newcastle then definitely head down to Northumberland Street to check it out.
