Next up in the line of Benefit hero products is the Fake Up* concealer. Different from their Erase Paste or Boing concealers with the promise of hydration and a light weight formula.
The concealer core comes in three shades, light, medium and dark which is surrounded by a hydrating ring that gives instant moisture and prevents creasing under the eyes. I've found the Erase Paste and Boing to be quite heavy on the thin under eye skin, the Fake Up is super light weight and blends in seamlessly.
I was pretty excited to get involved pre-launch (it hits counters March 30th) at the Newcastle event earlier this week. The Tivoli, Fenwicks restaurant gathered North East bloggers to introduce Fake Up and there amazing new eyeshadow palettes. We each got the opportunity to be individually colour matched, I, obviously light, and play with the new products.
I have to admit that I'm not a slave to concealer. While my skin behaves itself, mine has been relegated to the depths of my collection and while I have never had a problem with dark under eye circles, I really enjoy Fake Up for its brightening qualities. You need a tiny bit, which immediately sinks into the skin and manages to brighten the whole face. It's easy to use on other blemishes when a little dry, offering moisture as well as masking imperfections.
