Designer Lingerie at Simply Beach

There couldn't be a better time for Simply Beach to have contacted me. It's Spring cleaning season, so with the majority of my life going on eBay, a little treat was welcomed. They offered me a pick of their site ranging from designer lingerie, swimwear, nightwear and men's wear, it took me a while to pick from their gorgeous range.

I went with the Lejaby Bloom Moulded Balconette Bra* and Thong* set. In tune with the florals of this season.

The site ranges from basics and necessities to luxury and all things pretty. I opted for pretty as nothing gives me that subtle boost of confidence like a matching set of underwear!
Each item arrived separately packaged, just two days after ordering. Their customer service was excellent in my experience.

The bra is a full cup, with a mesh overlay. The straps are silk with a lace detail on the side and fit like a dream. The silk back strap means it sits comfortably and doesn't pinch the skin at all.
The thong has the same detailing. With a mesh waist and the rest silk with the matching lace detailing. They are slightly stretchy to fit, but sit seamlessly.

Prices range from the small, to the designer price tag, so you're more than likely to find something to suit your style and budget.
Delivery is cheap starting at just £1.99 within the UK and they also offer free UK returns. They also ship internationally.

So whether you're a simple white tshirt bra kind of woman, a lacy balconette or on the hunt for this years beach wear, Simply Beach will offer you something of quality and style.

Essie and Kardashian Kolor nails

The increasingly popular glitter manicure has made it onto my nails. I got the Kardashian Kolor Rainbow in the  S-Kylie way back in December but I've only just started using it. I've seen the endless posts on O.P.I Rainbow Connection and this is the perfect dupe.

Essie's Lilacism is one of my all time favourite nail colours. It's a grey toned lilac, which sets it aside from the likes of O.P.I Do You Lilac It? Another favourite, that's a lot creamier and much more bold. This is the perfect understated pastel purple.

Still lusting after Disco Dolls from the Kardashian Kollection... Glitter has definitely made a come back to my nails. It's a way of toning down the Spring pastels for the April showers imminent in the UK.

New In

Back home for Easter, so back home to a few more shops to play with! The spring/summer stock is amazing me right now and I had a wonderful Thursday of trying just about every item on that caught my eye. I love when I can actually be bothered for a mammoth trying on session, even if I did choose to wear a play suit and tights...

I've wanted a big chunky knit for a while, this one from Ark is perfect and was only £19.99! I never go in store much but popped into the Leeds branch and I love everything in there.
I think the only store missing from Newcastle city centre is Zara, and I really don't understand why they don't have one! I fell in love with this ombré jumper from Topshop, but wasn't about to spend that much on a jumper. Again, just £19.99 for this Zara copy and I like it so much more, definitely more summer appropriate. It's out in pink too.

@ REPUBLIC
Still not sure about the first one, not convinced about the print but I loved the cut out detail on the bust. The dipped hem is a selling point, just need to prance about in it a few more times to make a decision.
The second dress I absolutely love. It fits like a dream and is the perfect length to dress up or down. Will be pairing it with my cropped H&M jumper and tights for the not so warm Easter weekend.

FROM RIVER ISLAND
After watching Zoe's video on how to style maxi skirts, I needed one in my life. I scoured Primark and New Look but couldn't find any basic enough that I liked.
Both of these were really cheap in River Island terms and fit so well. Had a mini styling party with myself last night and can't wait to put some outfits together with these. The black has a slit to just above the knee on both sides, but it doesn't tip the risqué scale so is easily wearable in the day.

EBAY VIA VIPXO
Another great find from Victoria, perfectly in tune with my pastel obsession right now. Unfortunately I can no longer find it on eBay since the seller I bought it from no longer sells it, but I'm sure there are a million and one dupes of it on there!

HUNGER GAMES TRILOGY £7.99 @ THE WORKS
BEING KENDRA - EBAY
And, like just about everybody else I went to see the Hunger Games and immediately had to read the entire series. I absoutely loved the film and have heard better things than Twilight about the books. Wasn't the biggest fan of the Twilight series looking back, so hopefully these will see me better!
Also, very random addition of Kendra Wilkinson's second book. Flew threw her first and have already finished this one - in a day! - very easy read, maybe because I absolutely love her. Also, the first (Sliding into Home) shows just how fake The Girls Next Door was, for any fans out there!

A great much needed update to my wardrobe - and my Becky Bloomwood obsession. So impressed with the high street recently.

What have you been adding to your spring/summer wardrobe?

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

I thought it was about time I introduced you to my all time favourite foundation. The Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. Being a beauty blogger, and, just me... I like to try out new things. There's nothing I love more than the initial use of a new product and gaging how I feel about it.
But, I'm now on my third bottle of this foundation and it's somehow managed not to make it onto the blog.

I would describe this as a medium coverage foundation. Those days when your skin is alright but not perfect, then it works well to cover any minor blemishes. The larger ones require extra work, but it works over redness and mild darkness well.

It has the best scent, something to do with the vitamin rich fruit therapy I'm sure.
It's quite thin in formulation so doesn't feel too heavy on. Bourjois claim that it lasts 16 hours, which I haven't put to the full test but it lasts well. The majority of it is still on my combination skin by the end of the day, with the most wear around the chin and the nose. I finish mine with bronzer or MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural - depending how tanned I am! - which creates a great flawless finish. Alone, it leaves a subtle dewy finish, but eventually dries to look less so.

Being such a thin formulation, it is quite runny, so I love the pump dispenser, as I do with all foundations. I generally use about a pump and a half onto my Real Techniques stippling brush, stipple all around my face then buff it in.

It's available now (and has been for some time) along with the concealer (another favourite) and powder in the same collection.

I snapped mine up at the Bourjois Boutique but it retails at £10.99, completely worth every penny.
