Leeds Benefit Event - Box O' Blush Lipglosses

One of the many highlights of blogging is the events, getting to mingle with other bloggers, seeing new faces and of course, getting to play with new products.

Yesterday Benefit invited bloggers along to Fibre Bar in Leeds to announce the release of their Benefit Box O' Blush Lipglosses. A lipgloss to match each Box o' Blush in the Benefit range - bar Hervana since it was released too late.

The afternoon was split into two parts. We began by watching a demonstration of a makeover, including the new foundation - 3 years in the making! - and the new primer of course, including a brief run down of their customer ethos. All about Benefit always focus on the customer wants instead of pushing their products onto them. I couldn't agree more with my past experience of Benefit counters!

The second half was all about the brand, where it began, how it began and what keeps it going. The interesting fact that I took away from it, is that Benetint all came from exotic dancers in the 70s wanting something to enhance their nipples. True story.

We then had chance to have a play with the new lipglosses and have a chat with everyone. Perfect afternoon and it was lovely to meet some new (and old!) bloggers. I have fallen for the Dandelion lipgloss, just like I have the blush!

Our goody bag* to take away - how cute is the USB stick?! - including Coralista lipgloss. I'm going to get a separate review up on this as soon as I can! The rest of the lipglosses will be released on June 30th at £13.50 each.
