Dove Pro Age Haircare

With the promise of 2x stronger hair, the Dove Pro Age Hair Therapy range is something I've had my eye on since it came out.

The lightweight formula drew me in further. Since I have super thin hair, anything that promises extra moisture - usually in anti breakage products - generally means greasy and fast.

Similar to the the Dove Pro Age body care range, all the vital ingredients are there to mend and care for your hair, with promises to nourish brittle hair and restore it to its previous fullness.

So like I previously said, the moisture is normally the thing to let these products down for me! Despite its light weight formula, the inclusion of micro moisture serum, to me is like bathing your hair in serum while you wash it, which isn't the best option for me.
I rarely put serum on my hair when dry, the only exception being moroccan oil every so often on the very tips when towel dry.

For me the lightweight formula just wasn't lightweight enough, and while both products together leave my hair really silky smooth, by the second day it's more greasy than it would usually be.
The shampoo lathers up really well and the conditioner only needs a little time on the hair to get to work. Thicker locks - by which I mean almost any, my hair is really that thin - would love these products.

In terms of the breakage, I'm well aware that a quick condition isn't magically going to seal the split ends back together, but it's always possible to make it feel that way!
My ends do feel really soft after using this and fly aways are a thing of the past, with an extra shiny finish to complete the look

For anyone that wouldn't describe their hair as super thin, give these a try if you're wanting a quick fix for breakage and a sheen to your hair. But for those of us unlucky enough to be dealt the thin hair gene, I wouldn't recommend them.

The Dove Pro Age Haircare range is available now, with both products £2.49 each.
