The Dove Pro Age range is one I've heard a lot about and was interested to try. The title would suggest it's all for wrinkle and age protection, but instead it offers a 'deep care complex' for your dry skin, to make it silky smooth.
The Dove Pro Age Nourishment Body Cream Oil** includes essential ingredients including olive oil to deeply nourish your skin. I'm lucky in that I have pretty normal skin on my body, so I can easily miss a few days of moisturising without dire consequences.
This moisturises so well that I can still feel the affects a day after. Upon application, you only need a small amount for it to sink in well and give you great feeling skin. You can easily apply too much which leaves an oily moisture to the skin, so take my advice with less is more!
It has a pretty inoffensive, neutral 'Dove' smell, but is verging on the sweeter side, which is unusual for Dove. I personally love it and it doesn't linger around for an overpowering scent.
Despite the inclusion of olive oil, you don't feel it with the right amount. It leaves a nice sheen to the skin, after blending out the creamy moisturiser.
The Dove Pro Age Nourishing Body Wash** is obviously the shower equivalent to the body oil. I always use my body wash with exfoliating gloves, helping it to lather up but also making sure I get an exfoliation every single shower.
I've used this with and without the gloves and on days when I've skipped moisturising I like to think this contributed to the feel of my skin. It lathers really well and has the same scent as the moisturiser, mildly sweet with the trademark Dove scent underneath.
This product boasts the NutriumMoisture ingredients, to sink into the skin and nourish while in the shower. I found myself leaving it on for a couple of minutes to get the full benefits. But I can't say it was particularly stand out from other moisturising body washes.
The Dove Pro Age range is available now, with the Dove Pro Age Nourishment Body Oil at £5.99 and the Dove Pro Age Nourishing Body Wash at £2.40
