Jean Paul Gaultier Ma Dame

One of my Valentine's treats from boyfriend was Jean Paul Gaultier's Ma Dame fragrance. He has a thing for Jean Paul Gaultier - so after fulfilling his own collection, I was the next option.

I absolutely love the bottle. Something so modern and edgy about it, and adds a great twist to the classic Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances.

The scent is built up of orange, grenadine, rose and musk. Quite a unique description, especially compared to others in my super sweet perfume collection.
The scent is definitely unique but I loved it the first time I smelt it because of that. It's wearable for the day time but because of the musk can be carried through to the night. There is still a sweet element to it, but I think it's the mixture of the orange and grenadine which gives it an edge and sets it aside from other scents.

I've smelt the original Classique and definitely think that is the more mature scent in the range. This is the edgy and more youthful counterpart. I think it may be a love or hate it scent and I for one, love it!

Have you tried any of the Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances?

P.S. There's still a few days left to enter my Wahanda giveaway!

  4. I had this a few years ago and it's one of my faves, I only had a sniff the other day and thought about rebuying it. I like to carry it around though, perfume, and this doesn't have a lid and was used very quickly so I suspect it leaked :( xx
