Mini Haul

  • No 7 blend & contour eye brush - £6 (£1 with voucher!)
  • Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara - £7.82
  • Rimmel Stay Glossy lipgloss - £5.99
It's 3 for 2 in Superdrug on ALL Rimmel products right now, I picked up these two and allowed a friend to choose something (ended up being a nail varnish - not pictured) to be the freebie because i am just that giving.
I'll have another week of religious use and review the mascara next weekend hopefully!
I might do the same with the lipgloss too(thoughts??), although - first impressions are very good. It's really sheer, but i likes it.

No. 7 Extravagant Lashes Review

I'm the first to admit that I like a good gimmick - anything revolutionary draws me in. This is what happened with the new No7 mascara.

Introducing, No7, Extravagant Lashes mascara;
Firstly, I have to comment on how massive the bottle is. You notice when you first see it, then you get used to it, but if you switch back to a regular mascara, you'll think the regular is tiny.
Anyway, the gimmick that this mascara offers is it's "combination of bristles with unique-shaped discs that are designed to reach the very base of your lashes, separating and lifting each one and giving unbeatable volume and curl." Basically, it's a squared oblong brush, with bristles in between each 'disc' which aim to coat the shorter lashes, while the discs seperate the longer ones.

The problem with this brush is the size. It works well for the outer lashes, but when trying to reach the smaller lashes on the inner corners, and lower lash line it's a lot harder than other mascaras. It also makes it harder to 'wiggle' the lash from the base (which i do to create thicker lashes) because it ends up poking you in the eye!
For the longer lashes, the first coat is good, it coats them evenly and separates well, but for me, the more coats you apply the more 'spider leg' like they come, often clumping lashes together, which isn't what I like in a mascara.
I've been using this religiously for a week; for the first few days i used it alone, attempting to work around the flaws. But for the rest of the week, i used a different mascara first to really seperate the lashes, then applied this after to get the length.
As a lengthening mascara it is amazing. I'm lucky enough to have pretty long lashes with no mascara at all, but both me and my friend got this at the same time, and i have seen the created length on said friend's lashes, which proves it should work for everyone!

Bare lashes - No mascara;

One coat of Extravagant Lashes;

Two coats of Extravagant Lashes;

The rundown;
  • It retails for £11.50 (I got mine with a £5 discount)
  • You get 12ml of product.
  • The 'wand' is a first of its kind - but doesn't apply all that differently to other products.
  • It is available in black, brown or blue.
My thoughts;
As a mascara it isn't really anything special. If used alone then there are definitely better ones on the market, but if you take the time to apply a base coat of a different mascara - or perhaps a primer, I have never tried one though - then it really is quite good, especially in the lengthening stakes. I don't know if the problem is the formula or the actual brush, if it is the brush, then no7 might have made a bit of an error here.
On my very first application I got a whiff off the mascara without putting it to my nose... It has a smell of glue. But this never bothered me again, so don't let that put you off.
I wouldn't recommend this for an everyday mascara, but it's definitely worth trying it out, as once you find the right way to apply, it gives good results. Plus, for the amount of product you're getting, it proves quite the good investment.

All things considered, I would recommend this to mascara fans, plus, it might just be me who has problems with the application, let me know what you think of it if you have it or go for a purchase :)

Collection 2000 - Hot Looks nail varnish review

So, a product doing the rounds of the blog world recently seems to be the Collection 2000 polishes.

This brand is usually one I would walk straight by, i usually associate cheap with rubbish, but i think the Sleek palettes are just one product that works against that.
The colours within the 'Hot Looks' range are pretty impressive, and as i am a sucker for a good purple, 'Dynasty' really drew me in. Which was then followed by a 3 for 2 offer, meaning i had to pick my next two favourites.
While the colours are impressive, it still isn't a brand that amazes me, despite the numerous rave reviews I have experienced. This was a product I was bullied into buying by the peer pressure world of blogging, as I said, I would normally have not looked twice at the Collection 2000 'stand'.

So, onto the actual polish.
I first tried Dynasty (#35) being the favourite of the bunch.

I am constantly on the look out for the perfect pastel purple. This doesn't quite get there, but it makes a good effort. It changes though, in some lights it's a really dark pastel purple, other lights really pale and others still, a pale pink. So if you're looking for a multi tasking polish, this one is for you.
It goes on alright, but can be streaky if too little is on the brush. I found myself touching up the odd nail to make them appear smoother.

The second;
BMX bandit (#32)

Yes there is a streak of 'Hoola Hoop' (coming up), which looked a lot better here than on it's own. But, the BMX Bandit is actually my favourite after application. This applied really smoothly, and I didn't need to re apply to any nails, I always apply 2 coats, so this non streak theory is a view from two coats. It is more periwinkle than a blue, and it again changes colours, from blues to purples. I like the purple side of things better, but it's always a winner for me.

Third and finally;
Hoola Hoop (#34)
Apologies for the blurring...
This one is one of my least favourites. There isn't many pinks that I don't like, and in some lights it's tolerable. But sometimes I think it's a little too, 'in your face' pink. But this applied the best out of them all I think, and is manageable with just one coat (on most of my fingers anyway). I think this is just a better option for nail art in my opinion, instead of being too garish with the talons.

The rundown;
  • Each bottle has just 8ml, but i'm one that rarely reaches the bottom anyway.
  • They retail for £1.75 in my Superdrug, but i've heard other prices elsewhere. I managed to get mine in a 3 for 2 offer at Superdrug as well.
  • The brush is normal... I don't really know how to describe a brush? It applys the polish well.
  • I think you're more likely to experience the streaky application with the lighter colours, as they will have a thinner finish.
Chipping;

I think this is the subject that is what determines a good polish. It is with me anyway. Sadly, these polishes aren't going to amaze you here. There was wear after just one day, and fuller chips after two. The pink colour seemed to chip incredibly easy, but maybe i just had a more active day after that application.
This was done with no top/base coat, to test the full staying power of the polish on it's own, i've yet to try it with a top/base coat.

On the bottle it states they are fast drying, which is an area where they do excel. Not amazingly fast drying, but noticeably different to those that don't advertise this quality.

Overall...
They get my vote in the colour range, but otherwise they just don't cut it for me. The price is obviously another winner, but in this case it follows the cheap = lower quality route, which is a shame when they offer such good colours!
I think these are better for a night out or event where you can just take it off as soon as the nights over, instead of choosing it for it's lasting power.
Actually, these would be really good for middle schoolers, as in our school you weren't allowed nail varnish, but if it's only going to be worn for weekends then these get a good thumbs up.

I am doing nothing today... And there aren't enough blog updates to keep me occupied.
I did this instead,

Tuesday's goodies :)

Today i received my package from Abbie - I managed to get some stuff from her blog sale, on Make Up And Madness.
There are still bargains to be had, so go have a look see if there's anything you want.

I ordered these;
Nails Inc in Victoria & Benefit sample of Lip plump.

But, here is what i actually got!
Some lovely samples to try packaged with glittery bits, plus a lovely letter. I love stuff like that. So thank you lots Abbie! I can't wait to try everything out.
I hastily swatched the Nails Inc polish for you, but this was over Dynasty and a bit rushed. I save the darks for winter. It's a dark berry colour, like red wine!
So yes, apologies for the poor nail there.
First impressions of the lip plump are positive. It slightly neutralises your lip colour in order to prime your lips for lipstick (i think..) I haven't had a chance to play with this properly, i just put it on when i got it and didn't register the after effects. But i like to have a sample and play before committing to the price which could be regretted!
Thanks again Abbie - I really appreciated the little extra touches :)

Next, onto my purchases of the day.
I went to the York discount outlet today, it was a pretty random trip as i was pretty badly hungover this morning, but didn't want to waste a day like i usually do. So off me and mummy went.
I pretty much exclusively went for make up, but i did pick up a necklace from the French Connection outlet - which I have stupidly forgotten to photo - and tried a few other things on, but decided against them.
Make up wise I was pretty shocked at the selection available because i had assumed it would be a pretty poor show.
I forgot the name of the shop, but its just decked out with MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown and a few others i didn't look at, plus perfume. It's across from the perfume shop, which i think is called perfume point - near one of the entrances. I highly recommend this for some bargains.
So, I bought;
Dazzleglass in 'Goldyrocks' and an eyeshadow in 'Beautiful Iris'
The dazzleglass cost £9.80 and I'm pretty sure they still stock this in MAC stores? Maybe I'm wrong. I thought this stuff was all discontinued or limited edition items.

A really sheer gold glitter, amazing shine.

The eyeshadow was just £7.70. A pretty sheer lilac colour.

Thinking about it, I should have probably taken advantage of the stuff available... I regret not doing actually. There was a couple of collections like Style Warriors and Hello Kitty still available there and other collections i didn't recognise. Plus, they do MSFNs and MAC wipes and brushes, so I plan to go back sometime. I'm hoping other products become available before i go back.

Designer wise, it is a pretty good outlet - but i think its more suited to the older woman (!) Because there is more shops aimed at that range than us youngens. But there is definitely something for everyone, so i was very pleasantly surprised.

Unexpected haul

So, I blogged earlier saying I would fit a few blog posts in today... I have created a list on ones I need to do; but then the plan changed.
I took one of my friends to Ikea for the uni run - stocked her up on crockery and various nick knacks that every uni goer needs. It was very fun, but I did feel like her mother...

Anyway, going to Ikea meant a trip to Boots on the side, as said friend had no7 vouchers to spend.
As my treat for taking and equipping her, she gave me one :)
I just felt like a child.

So, the Boots mini haul -
Reviews on all will come once i've used them for a bit.

  • Soap and Glory 'The Fab Pore' £5.88
  • No 7 Extravagant Lash (01 Black) £11.50 - £6.50 with voucher
  • No 7 Quick cover concealer (02 Extra fair) £7.50 - £2.50 with voucher!
With the free voucher I got the concealer as my trusty ELF one has come to the end of its life - but i do reccomend it for light coverage. On first impressions (I just tested when i got home) this is really good, but i'll try and get in a review in next weekend.

By buying that and the S&G product, I got another no7 voucher (you need to spend £5 in order to receive one, can also be used on Ruby & Millie products - including brushes) so I got what i would have originally got if i hadn't needed concealer, the extravagant lash. So, the woman on the ad is possibly one of the worst people to advertise it - is it just me she grates on? - and the concept behind the ad is even worse - what man randomly buys mascara as a present, for someone who appears to be a stranger to him - but again, going by first impressions I think it is worth the full price tag, but again, i will use it religiously this week and get a review asap.

In regards to the Soap & Glory, I originally sauntered to their skin care to get the chin spot thing (:S help me out here.. I forgot the name) as that is generally the only place i get spots and i have heard positive things about it. But, being my luck - they didn't have it. Didn't even stock it. So, I picked up the Fab Pore, in a bid to continue the blackhead treatment story. It can be used as a wash or a facial peel, so i'll interchange between them and give my thoughts at the end of the week.

You might get another post out of me this evening, but as of now I have thumb cramp for some bizaare reason. So i'll catch up on your blogs from today instead :)

Just to let you all know...

My A level results have been and gone.
I got three Bs, which is higher than i needed. It looks like I will be studying Media & Journalism at Northumbria University in a years time (I'm taking a gap year, hopefully to do some travelling from February time).

I didn't get nervous until I went on UCAS this morning and it said they were awaiting my results - so i got into a panic, thinking I wouldn't be accepted. But all is well :)

We got yearbooks this morning as well, they aren't as good as I'd expected... AND, they spelt my name wrong! Great! They put Pheobe instead of Phoebe; could have been worse I suppose.

Anyway, just thought i'd give you a little update because the celebrations begin now! All my friends got what they wanted and more, which is great - I didn't want to be on a high while a friend was devastated. We're going for a late pub lunch this afternoon, staying the majority of the day then into town tonight.
We'll be going as school girls - cliche and tacky I know, but at least it's easier to decide what to wear!

Today's nail of the day;
C200 - 'BMX Bandit' with a stripe of 'Hoola Hoop' on the thumb.
I plan to do a review on these nail varnishes soon.

Thankyou to all those who wished me luck for my results :)
I hope everyone else getting results today got what they wanted and Good Luck to all those who are yet to find out.

Talk soon,
PhOEbe.

Epic Shoe Envy

Take the time to look at the shoes in the opening of this video;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIeGorocj6w

This was actually love at first sight with me - serious. This has happened only on two other occasions in the world of clothes and stuff...
Plus, I love the rest of the fashion in the vid & the song is immense. Although could that be some GaGa channeling in there? With the massive disco ball and huge bow?

Anyway - back to those shoes.
They are similar to some worn by Lindsay Lohan in the September issue of British Elle; these ones are by Isabel Marant.

So, the point of this post... Does anyone know any highstreet copies??
I absolutely love this style, and i'm wanting some pretty near to this look. I hear that studs are meant to be a pretty big look in Autumn/Winter - so i'm hoping they will be everywhere soon...

Can anyone help?!

NOTD and then some.

Today's nail is...

O.P.I's 'Tropical Punch'
It'll fit right in with the expected - and much needed - heat wave this week!

Plus, for a little extra pazazz..!
A little piggy! :D
I came across an amazing blogger, who specialises in nail art. She is called The Princess of Polish, and from what I have seen, she knows her stuff. I attempted a remake of this particular post.
So, it isn't quite at 'princess' standard yet :P But I am definitely going to try out more of her designs and maybe think up some more of my own. I love her flair - and I think it's a real art form, especially when you have hands as shakey as mine...

Products used...
Barry M's 'pure purple 125' (it looks pink to me...), M&S - Per Una - 'pink cloud', Rimmel nail tip whitener, Barry M's 'Grey 293', NYX 'Ink Nail Art' in 'black' and Rimmel's super wear top coat. Dots applied with an orange stick.

I just applied two coats of the first polish (with adequate drying time), put on a blob of the pink, shaping it with the brush. I then used the pointed end of the orange stick to create the eye balls and the slanted end to create the brows. These were then topped with the NYX nail art brush to create the black dots - finished with two coats of clear polish.

So far, The Princess of Polish has only created one tutorial via her blog, so i'm hoping she'll add a few more to help me in recreating some of them!

What do you think?
Is it something you might try?

Goldwell Haircare

This is a sort of unfair post.
Here's why; I don't usually spend a lot on hair care. I change my shampoo/conditioner with every new set I buy but nine times out of ten i'll just get it from the supermarket.
Goldwell is a salon brand - which my new salon coincidentally uses - which was previously unheard of to me. But, in February of this year, I subscribed to Glamour magazine (for just £1 an issue!) and this set was my free gift... So i didn't actually pay.

After a bit of research, I found out it's actually a US brand that is pretty exclusive to the US. But, if you're lucky enough to have a salon that stocks it near you, you can obviously buy it from there. But on the internet, its available from a few sites (just google it if you're interested.).

My set came from the Dual Senses, Rich Repair collection and Oh. My. Gosh.
It is the best haircare I have ever used - and i'm not just saying that because it's salon brand, I've had other salon products that haven't compared.

The shampoo;
Image taken from golwellusa.com

In my experience, shampoos are just there to clean your hair, and the conditioner is their to nourish and.. well, condition. This product works on it's own. It leaves my hair soft, smooth and shiny (the only s's you need!) from the first use.

The conditioner;
Image taken from golwellusa.com

The bottle states that it will leave your hair soft and nourished after leaving it in for 60 seconds, but I just used this as normal, distributing through my hair, leaving for about 30 seconds maybe then washing out. This worked fine to get it to an amazing softness and shine. It's almost unbelievable.

The leave in conditioner;
This says the same on the tub, to leave it in for 60 seconds to experience a deep nourishing treatment. Again, you don't need to leave it in for too long to get the same result, but I like to leave this in longer to further nourish my hair. The downside to this product is, a little really does go a long way, if left in too long or too much is used, you'll definitely experience greasy hair where the product was applied.

So, it retails from £7.25 for the shampoo (250ml), £7.35 for the conditoner (200ml) and £8.95 for the leave in (200ml). This was sourced from here. I'm sure if you shop around the internet, you could probably find it cheaper somewhere. But this is where I found a wider range of their products, which I will definitely buy - so expect a second review/haul in the recent ish future. Plus, this site offers just £2.95 for UK postage - which for the weight of these products, I think is a really good price.

The smell; I can't really describe it... I can't pick up any particular scents or anything, but i really love it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

All in all, this would definitely receive a strong recommendation from me. I've just finished both of my bottles (hence not providing my own pics for those) and I am definitely going to repurchase, but will branch out into some of the other ranges.
My hair is quite fine and naturally straight (with a few waves here and there) so the grease factor might not happen for those with more hair to hold the product. But, the real winner for me, is that it means I don't need to straighten my hair after using these products because of the amount of frizz it gets rid of, which is basically the only reason I straighten, to give a sleek finish.
If you try - or have tried - any of their products, let me know what you think :)

E.L.F goodies

I have just got back from a meal out with the chums - I can't move I am so full, so I will spend this time at my computer, talking to you lovlies :)

E.L.F wise; I have been waiting to get this stuff for ages do to lack of funding and have had to read loads of blogs raving about the stuff I want!
I only got a couple of studio line stuff, because I'm waiting for more reviews on the rest, for an informed decision!

The goodies.

Studio Line £3.50

Warm bronzer;
This is shockingly good. I mean, I'd heard good things about it, but it's always different with different people. It gives a really good sheen, like a glowing tan look? Plus, it isn't over facingly shimmery - there is shimmer present, but it's not tacky shimmer.
I have been using it swirled together; but today i used the embossed (bottom right) one as a contour on its own and it worked really well.

Complexion Perfection
I was a little disappointed with this, it's another product I've read only good things about. But, it's just not that special; it works well as a pressed powder, prevents shine well. But it hardly hides all your flaws. I've used them together and separately and they still ain't impressive! I'm desperate to love this product - Do you have any suggestions as to how i can?

Regular line £1.50
Healthy glow bronzer (#5 Luminance)
I don't think the actual product looks like what it does on skin. I came across this when my friend bought it in hope of a bronzer, and was disappointed in the turn out.
This is definitely not a bronzer, unless you're wanted gold cheeks. I use this as a highlighter with their bronzing brush, on my cheek bones and around the eyes. I love it as a highlighter and I have not (and am unlikely to) tried it as a bronzer.
The only downside here is the powder ness - it leaves a strong powder residue even with a quick sweep across it, so in the end I suppose a lot goes to waste when tapping off excess product and such.

I also got their blending brush - which had previously been sold out whenever i attempted to get it. It's really good! It is one of their much softer brushes and works well for blending and crease colours, but it isn't as long as it is shown on their website, its more stubby and slightly dense than it appears.

Have you picked anything up from the studio line? Link me to your reviews!

NYX haul

As far as i'm aware, NYX is generally only available in the US, except a few select stores in the UK, which i have yet to find.
I placed an order from Mscuppycakes.com (a US site), which kept me updated with the progress of my order. It only took 2 weeks to arrive, which i thought was excellent! Shipping was more than reasonable! I've heard that if they are out of stock of an item, they might not inform you and will just ship it seperatley once it's in stock - which might not sound like a good idea, but you don't pay extra for the second package from what i've read, so it wouldn't bother me.

On to what i got...
Megashine gloss, Nail art polish, Black label lipstick, round lipstick x3

The selection of lipstick colours is insane; they don't have swatches on this site, so i used the NYX site for reference. But, there was a stupid amount to choose from, which is probably better done in store where you can see them for what they really are, because even seeing other peoples swatches; they probs won't be the same on you.

Each round lipstick was $1.25 each - amazed?! Thats about 70p a lipstick no?
The quality is really good, each goes on really smooth and has good pigmentation. They aren't too drying either, which i find with the majority of lipsticks. I wish I had a better knowledge of their colours, i would like to try some other shades - Do you know of any reccomendations?

Fig #640
This is my favourite of the lot, a coral pink, but it's very wearable.

Power #629
This one is almost lavender toned. I doubt i'll be wearing this out, it looks a tad 90s... But it's a very Lady Gaga esque purple lip if that's what you're looking for!

Strawberry Milk #595
I want to hazard at saying this is similar to MACs St Germain, I don't own it, but i have tried it out a few times. The only difference being that SG is a satin, so goes on a lot smoother. This is a bit chalky, if that makes sense? It isn't as smooth as the others initially, but after a couple of layers all is well.

The Black Label lipsticks are $4.50 a piece. Not too bad, especially since they seem to be going for a better package design, i personally prefer the round lipsticks. They come individually boxed as well.

Princess #143
This is a perfect bright pink. It has a coral tone to it though, so it makes it more wearable than other fuschias. I think this would be a good option for those dipping their toes into the pink pool...

The Megashine glosses come in at $3.75. They have a slightly bent applicator, which makes it easier to create a perfect cupids bow. I can't judge their staying power as of yet, but the shine is definitely mega, I want to try more of these too.

Dolly Pink (formerly Goddess) #106
A little scary right? Its a dark but bright pink, with purple hues. The swatch on the NYX site looked a lot different to this... so be careful there. But the shine pay off is amazing, you're only seeing the half of it in this swatch. Oh, it has a cherry scent and flavour too - yummy :)

Fig, Power, Strawberry Milk, Princess.

I would definitely reccomend the seller; but maybe suggest a better knowledge of the colours before buying - I want to try a lot more of them, but will leave it until i know more.
They are amazing quality for the price.

Do you own any? ..Thoughts?

'London Calling'

Once again I shall clarify that i have in fact been in London for the past few days.
See? That's my proof! Typical London taxis...

Me and my mum went down for 3 days last week, generally just to see Chicago, but we obviously had to fill the days with something... So what did we do? We shopped!
We also went on a tour bus for the majority of Friday, because although we've been to London a trillion times we never do tourist stuff...

Anyway, here is what I got;

Tbh i think it looks more than it actually is... I'll attempt to list it for you
Elle, Nerds, Vans slip on socks, American Apparel boob tube & a ring organiser. The rest is mentioned below.

Our hotel was a 5-10 minute work from Oxford Street - the Selfridges end - so this is where i began.
I found this really cool LE diet coke, which for some reason I'm always attracted to despite not liking the diet version. Don't you love it?
It came with a little sticker book too!

The weather was pretty good, and after a couple of hours of shopping we stopped for a drink where epic rainfall was witnessed... I don't think this picture shows the extreme nature; we were under a parasol.

I attempted numerous updates of my Twitter while away, but only the first few worked for some reason, so I'm hoping the rest don't come in bulk anytime soon... - Otherwise, the weather was pretty good, if a little dull on Friday.
Friday aft was spent in Covent Garden, where i found a MAC store, i looked at the counter in Selfridges but figured i should wait until my last day to splurge, because i wanted to see what else was available. I think I'll do a separate post on MAC, I got the skin finish natural, but I'll review it and my experience later.

Friday night followed, when we walked from our hotel to the Cambridge Theatre (Near Tottenham court road if my thinking is correct) to see Chicago. The walk was definitely not the 10minute stroll my mother had promised, but it was a nice walk so i suppose i won't hold it against her... too much. We took in a meal at 'Cafe Pasta' before the show.

I saw Dirty Dancing in the west end last year, and i have to say it doesn't compare, that was amazing. It was still really good though, I don't rate Michelle Williams as Roxy though, good singer, but i personally don't think she's too good at the acting side. Maybe that's just me though.
The guy playing Billy Flin (?) looked really familiar but i couldn't place him... He was the best performer i would say. I also saw Derek from Big Brother 6 here... very exciting obvs.
All in all, was a very nice evening. I persuaded my mum to get a taxi back, to avoid the epic walk there. It wasn't even that long... But i only like walking once its been done and the effects are seen, which i can tell you are being seen after those few days!

So Saturday was our last day, but it was pretty much the whole day as the train didn't leave til 4.30pm. We began with Oxford Circus, which, if hit in the morning, is an acceptable level of busy. I have been to Topshop in the past, and literally walked straight back out because of how many people are there, but I got there at a good time. The amount available is a little over facing! I only got a top, shoes and a lipstick; I could have easily bought more, but i figured as it's all over the country anyway, is there much point in buying as much as possible?
Shirt - Primark (£6), Shoes (£22), buttoned top (£15) - Topshop,
Pixelated floral top (£14?) - New Look

We then went to Carnaby Street, which is my favourite part of London, even if I'm not buying anything. But, that day, I did. I finally got my hands on the Converse CT Lites, which have been sold out in two of my local 'Office' stores for a while, I love them. They're not anything special, but I've been waiting for these for ever!
Converse CT lites £35? Office

I did Vans, David and Goliath and Kingly Court (KC is good for vintage stores and one off boutiques) where we stopped for a drink, then finished with American Apparel before moving onto the area surrounding the theatre, which had a few stores i wanted to go back to.
I bumped into a friend in KC though, which i thought was funny - of all the places to bump into a friend from home?! Stuff like that amazes me...
I was also treated to another drink by the theatre at a cocktail bar opposite Kiehls. Twas lush.

The jewellery;
Silver coin necklace (£5.99) - H and M, gold anchor necklace (£4), gold with ribbon ring (£5) - Accessorize, Hello Kitty watch (£30) - Selfridges

Beauty stuffs;
Mineralize skinfinish natural (£17.50) - MAC, Rimmel kohl eyeliner (£2.93), Maybelline Definer with felt tip applicator (£4.88) - Boots, Barry M lippaint in 145 (£4.95?) - Topshop, gel eyeliner (50p) - Primark and Burt's Bees lip balm (not pictured)

And so completes my trip.
I always love London, even if it is just the same shops but bigger. The only downside to London is the tourists, they always manage to look at their map RIGHT in the middle of a crowded pavement, otherwise all is well.

So came the train journey, this is how i spent my time

Intermingled with reading Elle and Glamour.
We got the Independent paper free every morning at our hotel, so i must have done about 15 sudoku over these past few days. I love them.

Expect posts on my ELF and NYX stuff soon, plus a couple of reviews.
Thanks for reading, I hope it didn't drag too much...
